Fuck Off, Francis
oil on canvas 20 in x 20 in
Pardon the terrible quality but the only camera i have is my cell phone. But anyhow, it’s the first thing I’ve painted in months. Its not a finished, polished piece; it’s just to get me back into the swing of things. I’ve gone through a lot of crazy thing recently and have fallen out of habit. Hopefully I can get back on my feet and start making things again.
Work from class last year. Just found it hidden in a pile of my used canvas boards. LOL at the baby hand. What was I thinking?
Quick study in the park with my friend:

I’m so proud of this piece. It changed a lot as I was painting it and it grew into something great. I want to do more in this dark style.
Roberto Ferri Mastercopy. oil on canvas. 16” x 20”. 2012
I need to photograph my paintings better. So much detail is lost in the darkness of this piece. But anyway, it’s a copy for class of Italian master Roberto Ferri. If you like this piece at all then you should check out his work. Its stunning.
